      IREM Scholarship Kudos

      This year's Holiday Party will feature a silent auction benefiting our local scholarship fund. This fund assists local professionals with funds for real estate education.       For more than seven decades the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) has been the source for education, resources and membership for real estate management professionals. An affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®, IREM is the only professional real estate management association serving both the multifamily and commercial real estate sectors.

       

      The IREM Houston Chapter is the fifth largest in the world, and has nearly 600 members. Our leaders strive to keep members informed on the latest legislative activities, safety standards, current industry trends, as well as providing education seminars, community service opportunities, a job referral service and candidate assistance services.

       

      In an effort to enhance knowledge and professionalism, the Houston Chapter awards over $15,000 annually in local scholarships for courses. IREM also promotes ethical real estate management practices through its credentialed membership programs. These esteemed designations certify competence and professionalism for those engaged in real estate management. In addition, IREM offers Associate, Student and Academic memberships globally. IREM Members are employed by some of the most prestigious real estate firms in the world.

    • IREM Support Our Troops

      IREM Houston is holding our annual Support the Troops collection effort for 200 soldiers overseas and invite you to participate! This worthwhile project will show our brave men and women that we care.  There are Several ways to Support the Troops! 

       

      Complete the donation form to help us with the purchase and shipping of donations.

      Adopt-a-Troop by sending in a written note or letter with each $50 contribution.
      Purchase any items on the list of needs and drop off at: 11000 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX 77042, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., M-F through October 31.

    • LEED Associate Study Group

      We’ve added education to LEED Luncheon Celebration! On July 19, we will hold a LEED Green Associate Study Group at the Westin Memorial. Our instructor will guide students through the materials needed to prepare for the LEED Green Associate (GA) Exam. This certification can set you and your property apart from the others.
