    • All Hands on Deck for Troops Packages

      We're in need of volunteers to help sort and pack items for our 200 Troops care packages. This rewarding project takes just a few hours of your time but is a great way to give back to the men and women that protect us. Please let us know if you can attend by emailing Lindsay at lbangle@iremhouston.org. Children over 12 are welcome to help. Our packing location is: 3100 Gessner, Suite 105, Houston 77042 in the Westchase area. Refreshments will be on hand and complimentary surface parking is available. Packing dates include: Tuesday, November 18 from 2:30 pm to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, November 22 from 8 am to Noon.

      Thank you to everyone who helped make the first annual Food Fest a big success! Turns out we have some amazing cooks in IREM Houston, right?!

       

      Our winning teams were:

      - 1st Place went to Keystone Resources for their Push-Up Spiced Bourbon Pie on a Stick

      - 2nd Place went to Stream Realty Partners for their Chocolate Chili Cake Balls

      - 3rd Place went to  Pavecon for their Yardbird on a Stick

      - Best Booth went to E3 Electric with their “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” Theme

      - People’s Choice Award went to Keystone Resources for their Push-Up Pies on a Stick

      The event attracted 18 cooking teams in total, 175 attendees and raised $16,000 to support IREM's mission of industry education, member scholarships and professional development. We've been pleased with the post-event proess and are grateful for everyone who pitched in to help.

    • The IREM Food Fest is Here!

      Over 150 professionals are expected to attend the IREM Food Fest on Thursday, October 9 at 2600 Citadel Plaza Drive on the lawn from 4 - 8 pm. Thank you to our 18 cooking teams and 15 sponsors!

       

      Register for this unique evening of networking and food. Our cook-off competition theme is "Anything-On-A-Stick." Think of all the creative and yummy possibilities from teams of real estate management companies and Friends of IREM.
