Assistant Property Manager

Our portfolio of projects completed and/or underway consists of approximately 45 million square feet of properties ranging from mixed-used destinations, office, industrial facilities, and master-planned residential communities. 



Specific Skills:

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines; must be able to think-outside of the box and communicate clearly
  • Must possess excellent tenant-relation skills and respond in a timely manner to tenant requests; dispatch work orders via Building Engines software
  • Prepare monthly tenant billing, variance and accounts receivable explanations, executive summary for owner reports; assure all reports are completed in a timely manner; responsible for additional reports, as directed
  • Responsible for coding and input of accounts payable in Avid and accounts receivable in Yardi
  • Work closely with manager in preparing all correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations; send reminders and coordinate meetings with tenants and vendors; prepare meeting notes and follow-up, as needed
  • Assist with annual budget preparation, reforecast and CAM reconciliations and direct input into Yardi
  • Responsible for managing annual contract bids, prepare service contracts and monitor vendor performance;
  • Maintain current certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors
  • Maintain all tenant and vendor files in an organized manner (paper and electronic files)


Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as Assistant Property Manager of commercial properties
  • Must hold a Texas Real Estate Salesman’s License
  • Strong spelling, grammar, writing and accounting experience
  • Must possess strong work ethic and able to get to work on time, as scheduled
  • Exceptional experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Yardi and Avid, Building Engines
  • Able to abstract leases and understand and uphold lease language in daily operations
  • Submit monthly property inspections and provide recommendations
  • Able to manage multiple projects and multi-task while maintaining exceptional tenant relations, skills and responses to work orders, issues, etc.
